John 14:12 “Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than there shall he do; because I go to the Father.
You either believe this verse or you do not! Why are there not miracles as Christ performed? How about the fishes multiplied? Why can you not walk on water, heal the sick, raise the dead, or make the blind see?
Is it that you truly do not believe in this verse? What about abiding in Christ? Do you truly abide, spend time with the Lord and seek Christ in all you do? Do you use Christ and God as a puppet and ask Him to give you this or that? Do you seek Christ for your protection only? Truly, what does it mean to abide in me? What is Jesus saying to you? Are your works, your family, your health more important than seeking Christ? How much time are you alone daily with the Holy Spirit? Is the world drowning out His Spirit?
Ask Him and He will answer. Christ yearns to speak to you, to dance with you, to rejoice with you!
So, what will it take for you to believe in the works of Christ? That you too can perform His works as He did?
Do you think their statements are blasphemy? So, what does Christ mean? You shall do greater works for He has sent to you the omnipresent Spirit of God through the presence of the Holy Spirit?
Ask the Lord to open up your heart to His way, His will, and His presence. Allow Christ to be the center of your life, not your self. Abide in His word, spend time with the Lord! Teach, and learn to grow in intimacy with the Lord. Amen.
