The historic Church of the Holy Comforter was built in 1883 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Recently, there have been ongoing renovations to both the Rectory and the historic Church. Much work has been done so far, the renovations will soon come to a close, as these two historic buildings are nearly complete.
The Holy Comforter Orthodox Church is currently using the Braman Institute of Higher Learning literature throughout the church's teachings where applicable. Operation Blessing Bags are also being distrubuted to the church which will give the Blessing Bags to local individuals in need.
