Community Programs

The Women's Ministry

The women’s ministry will be using the Braman Institute of Higher Learning program, along with other programs, with the women residing at the facility.

Ministry Volunteers

The ministry, made up of volunteers who are mature Christian women, will be facilitating different programs in the BIHL curriculum or engaging them in exercise. A goal may be for the individual to obtain a high school equivalency and advance into higher education. In some of its plans, B.I.H.L. will teach the individual vocational training. We will also be working through with other resources to meet any legal and financial obligations on behalf of the individual.

Braman Institute of Higher Learning

It is a program designed within Braman Foundation of Charities (BFC), leading women to live a life that is free from restrictive tendencies and behavior disorder due to: mental illness, addictive tendencies, generating strong holds of sin, deep rooted defeated thinking processes that have led thousands of souls to live an incarcerated lifestyle, institutionalism, and deep bondage.

Living the Interior Life, Health and Restoration from Addiction, Overcoming Sexual Addiction, Overcoming Materialism, to include a well ordered Christ centered life that will provide an environment in which the individual can become whole, healed, and able to function well throughout society.

B.I.H.L will allow the individual to live in its facility free of cost.

Community Room

Women’s Christian Retreat & Rehabilitation Center

The newly renovated Braman Foundation of Learning facility will provide a stress free atmosphere in which the suffering individual can hear and implement safeguards that allow her to contribute to society in positive ways.
BFC’s newly remodeled women’s facility. Upstairs living quarters with bedrooms, kitchen and sitting area with full bath. Downstairs with learning center, common area for social gathering, office for private meetings, half bath and laundry facilities. Throughout the grounds there are several peaceful areas in which to relax and spend quiet time. There are many garden areas as well as large wrap around porch on the main house which is very inviting. The fountain area also provides an option for women to gather and pray, share or just relax. In addition across the street from the facility there is a large pond and nature walking for those times in between sessions or after dinner. This is where the women will reside while attending all of the session in their program.
The goal is simply to allow natural processes to occur by providing a stress free atmosphere in which the suffering individual can hear and implement safeguards that allow him or her to become a useful member of society. We would define wholeness or usefulness as the ability to earn a living without government subsidy, to live a drug and alcohol free existence, to be able to sustain a home, to engage in marriage, and to abide by all laws that are required to live a well balanced life. Ultimately, the women's facility will provide a safe place for them to heal and recover from brokenness, and to develop a relationship with the Lord.
